A new children’s book by a local author on the Endangered Sea Turtles
Trenton The Traveling Turtle by Sandy Gottlieb, is endearing children story to teach young children about the annual birth and migration of the many different sea turtles who come to the shores of Amelia Island. It is filled with fun illustrations, expressive vocabulary, and a loving story about a baby turtle traveling to his home in the sea grass.

This book was created and produced to teach our children to make them aware of the seven endangered turtles. A portion of the proceeds will be given to our local Turtle Watch Rescue on Amelia Island and other turtle rescues organizations. An additional activity and coloring book accompanies the book to further allow children to revisit the ocean creatures and fun activities to explore what they have learned from the original book’s story.
